hi,

i was wondering about bore through clubs. i know that they play a little stiffer in general, and my swing is about a stiff flex, maybe like 98 mph...give or take a few

i may purchase a fairway wood with a NVS75 copper shaft in regular flex, but the fairway wood is bore through.
is this okay for my swing? or should i be playing a stiff flex?

As a rule a shaft in a bore thru head will play about half a flex stiffer than rated ,unless the head has a plug in it to keep the shaft from going all the way thru. On a fairway wood it won't have as much effect as a driver due to head thickness.
