The Brandon Dunes complex, isn't there like 5 courses or something. Now how sweet would that be. . Maybe nikekid and I could do a house swap . . . . . . .
Japan.
Not for golf, but for their stunningly different culture, which I have been intrigued by since I was a boy. I want to live like the samurai did in the medieval age, where honor and simplicity dictate life, and a strange tranquility seems to befall the mind. I want to meditate, wrapped in a plain, white robe, cross-legged as I hear water trickling down a spring nearby - such a different lifestyle as compared to ours: hectic and chaotic.
I would have to say Alaska I lived there several years ago, and most importantly it is where I started playing golf again. I would like to play the course again where my love for this game was rekindled.
For, golf - No, not St. Andrews... Id like a vacation at Bandon dunes for at least a week, aso that I could get to play the three courses there at least twice. The combination and contrast of the individual courses is enought to keep anyone happy, and the scenery is breathtaking. The accommodations are first class, and can even be called rustic. Yeah, Bandon Dunes for me... at least if golf was involved.
I would love to visit Italy and play golf up around the mountains and also around the coast line. When we are done we can sit back and enjoy the fine cuisine and great wines.
