First of all, I want to thank Christian at Solid Rock Golf for providing the great prize. If you haven't already, you should check out the Web site. Christian is also here on the forums if you have any questions and there is a dedicated sub-forum here at Golf Rewind as well.
Also, thank you to everyone who entered their picks correctly. There were 75 entries this year and it's not that easy calculating the scores for everyone. I do it through a customized Excel spreadsheet so here are a few tips in the future for some:
1. The # of your players is the most important. Scores are all calculated through Excel so each player goes by their number, not by their name.
2. For the tiebreaker, you must pick 2 players from group 1 that you have not yet already picked.
3. Remember, you have until Sunday to make at least 30 posts if you haven't done so already!
4. Again, please don't forget player numbers! Actually, if you remember one thing, please remember their numbers. Honestly, your entry could be 1, 2, 11, 12, 21, 22, 31, 32 for all I care.
No one is doing well at the Masters the year. The green is so firm the balls just roll, even with spin
The conditions are ripe for these high scores. I think the winner will be over par, but the leaderboard will be tremendous at the end. I am amazed at how poorly some of the pro's are hitting their shots, but the conditions are causing some of it.
I keep seeing the scores of my picks and think there is no chance because they are so high. Then I remember everyone is that high, so maybe it isn't so bad. Chollyred seems to have a great set of picks.
I lost Els, and Allenby to the cut, so I'm done for. I'm glad you're doing well aceman4golf. You need something to brighten your year after the Gators knocking out your Buckeyes twice already.
Here is the round 3 Pick 'Em leaderboard. I managed to find at least one person who had more than one entry. In that case, I will only count your first entry as being official.
Thanks Victory for doing the leaderboard, it can't be easy.
Well, it's actually easier than it seems. I have a customized Excel spreadsheet I use to work out all of the scores. It's tough at the beginning because I have to input everyones picks but after that, all I have to do is input all 40 players scores and everything gets computed automatically.
