I will break 90 this year. I have shot all kinds of 90's the last 2 years but actually haven't gotten under it on a proper course. I almost did it earlier this year but finished with a 5 over par (9), par, quadruple bogey(8), double bogey (7) to finish with a 91. That was heartbreak.
My goal for this year is the same as it will be for every upcoming year until I find the grave. I want to hit more fairways, greens, and one putts... while seeing fewer doubles, bunkers, snap-hooks, and missed up-and-downs.
I want to work harder at keeping my head in the game for every shot, for all 18 holes, and continue the move towards becoming a scratch player.
In the end though, the real goal is to keep having fun and never let a bad shot ruin a round.
My goal this year is to improve my overall game by tracking my statistics and working on areas of weakness. (Usually means all parts of the game, but short game more than anything else..)
Additionally I'd like to deal with my nervousness in tournaments better. I play about 5 provincial tournaments, and in competitive situations I get nervous. I never seem to get 'comfortable', so that Is goal 1B ...lol
My goal for this season is to improve my ballstriking with my driver and my irons. I have improved my putting and shirt game, but I am lacking in my accuracy and that needs to improve through ballstriking and making better contact. I believe that once I accomplish this then my game will be better than it ever has. I would like to be able to bring the score to the 80's consistently and ballstriking would help me.
My goals this year are to shoot at least one round at even par or better, get my handicap down to a solid 3, and to try and not let the bad holes get me down.
My goal is to become the best putter around, period. That way, as I get older, I can still play respectably, and beat a lot of the competition. Good putting speeds up the game.
To have a single-digit Handicap, and shoot Under Par (For me, this will come from hitting it closer to the pin instead of just being content with being on a GIR whether its 60ft away or not)
