I have last year's game. I read reviews that the putting interface is worse. Any truth to that?

The putting is different but not worse. It is just a different style. You can easily get used to it

Sorry to disagree on putting, but it really is hosed in 09. You've got to take a full *******' swing to make a three footer for cryin' out loud.... I'd stick with 08 unless you already bought 09.... I'm bummed about it.

not if you extend the putting range. It is all about the length of the shot. If you want to use a really short stroke for a 3 footer then extend the range of the putt.

Yeah... I know that.... But why bother *****ing up the system like that. Who in their right mind would set a putter to 20 feet to sink a 4 footer with what would be considered even remotely as a "normal" putting stroke. Bizarre, and totally unnecessary given the 08 putting stroke... No one will convince me that this is a better putting system. But thanks trying with the info.

I didnt say it was better. It is just different. It does not really bother me at all
