For those of you that don't know or didn't read my original post, I was conversing with Christian about what shaft he would/could recommend for my particular swing. He responded with some really good suggestions and it impressed me that he would take the time to answer them probably figuring that I would send the club off somewhere else to get reshafted.

I decided to call him and speak to him and get into detail about what I was wanting, and after speaking with him on the phone I decided that It wouldn't be right to pick his brain and take up his valuable time only to send the club to someone else, so I sent the club to him and had him reshaft it as per his recommendation.

I got the club back and hit it on the launch monitor and I really liked the results! I played with it today for the first time and this combination rocks! The combo is a Cleveland Launcher 460 Comp head with an AccuFlex VS-339 stiff shaft. The problem that I was having was that I was hitting the ball really high. I was getting average distance but I was getting no roll what-so-ever.

This new shaft really brought the ball flight down and it now has a very nice boring trajectory that I absolutely love. Most important of all is that now I'm able to work the ball in either direction. I've always been a fader of the ball when it comes to the driver, but today I turned it over at will and hit nice tight cuts at will. This combination is really going to help my game I can feel. I now have the confidence to shape shots with my driver whereas before, I could rely on a cut but really didn't know what a draw would do. I really couldn't hit a draw with the previous shaft/head combination.

So to Christian and Custom Golf Sales, thank you for your time and expertise in helping me find a shaft that would work for me! If he's this good over the phone imagine how good he must be if he actually got to see your swing!

Glad to here that the combo is working for you. Christian really knows what he is talking about. Just imagine being able to come in the shop and having him analyze your swing on the launch monitors. He has helped me get some better things going as well.
