********"Spring Reshaft Your Club" Special!!! **********
Its time to start gearing up for the new season as its turning the corner with all the good weather rolling in. One way Custom Golf Sales would like to help is by offering a Reshaft Special. What we would like to extend to Golf Rewind members is the abiltiy to reshaft their Driver, Fairway wood, or Hybrid for the cost of the shaft, grip and shipping. This allows us to get to know everyone more while also allowing everyone the ability to see the quality that we offer to our customers. You are getting anywhere from %25 to %15 off your regular cost by having this done.
Here is the prices of the shafts and grips you can choose from!!! (email for fitting help)
Great promotion for all golfers IMO. To me the shaft is the most important part of your game!!! If you are curious then give Christian a call to discuss if you need a reshaft or not. I can promise you he won't sell you something you don't need.
This is ment to be a general question. Whats the turn around time on a reshafting of a driver?
tx
If the proper shaft is in stock then the turn around time would be approx. 2 days. If the shaft isn't in stock then it would only take around 5 days unless the Manufacture is out of stock on that particular shaft and then we notify the customer on an expected time frame. We keep over 85 percent of all the possible shaft choices in stock at all times. Thats around 170 possible choices of shaft and flex.
Just want everyone know that they only have a few more days left until this special ends...
We have already done 10 reshafts (a few more are deciding) so I would say it was a success for both sides. This will give GR's the ability to try different shafts in their clubs to see the difference a shaft makes for distance and control.
I was looking to get a new shaft for my TM r5. Right now I have the stock shaft it came with. However, I wouldn't have the slightest clue on which shaft to get. Tell me what you need to know and I can supply you with it. Also, here is a thread on my golf swing. It it is with an iron though. If you go to my last post in the thread it has my most current swing. Click HERE. Thank you
Its really hard to judge your driver swing from viewing your iron swing as they can be totally different. The videos do give me a idea of what I am working with but I would need a few more answers before I can make a judgement.
Here is a few questions that will help me pin point a shaft that will work best for you. Try to answer them to the best of your ability.
What is your driver swing speed?
Are you more aggressive or smooth swinger?
How far do you drive the ball (including roll)?
Do you get alittle, good, or alot of roll with your driver?
What is your tipical ball flight? (high to the right, medium center, low
left.....etc)
What is your bad shots with your driver tend to do?
My driver swing speed is between 90-100 mph according to a simulator.
I would say I am a smooth swinger with the driver.
Usually hit the ball between 240-250 yds.
Usually hit a high ball flight.
A bad shot would probably be a slice.
From 150yds I would use a 7 iron.
Here are a few shafts that will work well for you....
UST Proforce V2 (version 2) 65 Graphite
AccuFLEX Evolution Lite Graphite
Fujikura Vista Pro 70
AccuFLEX AccuLAUNCH 60
These shafts will work well for smooth swingers and offer good carry with good feel but will keep you launch angle down and alot tighter dispersion (accuracy) then a standard stock shaft.
My personal prefrence is the Evo Lite scheduled to be here mid next week. It will be the more stable choice of the 4 but will be able to handle an aggressive swing. You will definitely keep your distance and may gain some with this shaft (always hard to tell) but you will notice alot of change in the ball spin and accuracy.
