This hybrid had a 26* loft and a Accuflex Icon FH shaft.
Looks: It looked great. It had clean lines and did not look too big for a hybrid. Nice classy black paint finish.
Feel: It is a hybrid. They are not really known for feel but this club was sweet. The shaft was a great choice. I could tell where I was hitting the ball on the club face.....which was in the sweet spot most of the time with this club.
Distance: If you do not like long irons this club is for you. It is super easy to hit and it is long. I was hitting it 220 yards on good shots. That is 10 yards longer than my 4 iron.
Ball flight: This club hits the ball high. No ballooning but high with a lot of carry. It was easy to get out of the ruff and fairway bunkers. If you want to hit the ball low this is not your club. If you want to hit it long and straight than this club is a dream.
Thanks for the great review. The head and shaft are definitely made to get the ball up in the air for some major carry. The club seems to have a nice soft feel to it and your don't have to kill it to get the distance needed.
If you wanted to go for a lower trajection I would suggest going with a steel shaft like the Rifle or Dynamic Gold. If you wanted lower trajectory with graphite then I would look in the range of the NV 75, AccuLAUNCH 80... etc
here us the review from Todd Poston that was emailed to me last night.

Club: Hot Shot xs 26* with Icon FH shaft
Demo Day: 6/4/06
Average Score: 88 – 92
Review: I currently play the Icon FH shaft in a TM VSteel 4 wood, so I was looking forward to testing out this hybrid. I am unsure if this is supposed to replace a 4 or 5 iron, but am under the assumption it is a 5 iron replacement. I actually hit my 5 iron very well, so it would take a lot to knock it out of the bag. From address, the club head looks big and closed. I had a hard time feeling comfortable with the set up. I hit about 10 shots with the club. Half of them were straight and the other half hooked badly on me. I hit the ball plenty high, but my distance control was not very good. I had no idea how far the ball would go. One shot in particular ballooned on me (Started on a good trajectory and halfway into its flight took off straight up). I think I could get used to hitting this hybrid, but overall I do not think it is the club for me. While I am nitpicking, I did not care for the cord / no cord grip. I found it distracting as the logo was up and I did not like the color. I am a tour velvet full cord kind of guy.
I appreciate the chance to demo this club and would like to thank Christian for the chance to do so.
REVIEW:
Infiniti Golf XS HOTSHOT 26* hybrid w/ AccuFLEX ICON FH shaft in R flex
I'm 8th on the list, so I'm surprised more haven't posted their review of this club yet.
Ladies and gentlemen, this club is sweet. At 26*, it's a replacement for your 5 iron. On the occasions that I needed a 5 iron today, I used it. Distance was right for a 5 at about 185-195 yards.
The difference was in the forgiveness. I hit one ball on the heel, and it still went 180 with a very slight fade. I hit one off the toe, and it went about 180 with a mild draw. On the sweet spot, it was good for about 195 yards, and it stuck to the green when it landed.
I was a bit wary of hitting a graphite shafted "iron" in R flex, but the AccuFLEX ICON FW shaft is plenty strong enough for someone with a violent transition at the top (like me). I'm very tempted to send my Adams 3 & 4 hybrids to CGS and get that shaft installed in both.
I was very impressed with both the clubhead, and shaft, as I'm sure you can tell. I even liked the Sharpro grip that came on it.
Special thanks to everyone at CGS for allowing us to demo, and review this club.
I got a chance to hit this hybrid on Sunday at the range and I played 9 holes last night where I tried to use it as often as possible. In short, this is one sweet club! I seem to hit it about 175 to 180 which is about where I hit my 4 iron. The ninth hole of my home course is a 178 yard par three. So I used it off the tee to try to get a good judge of how far I hit this thing. I landed the ball about 6 ft. from the pin and it stuck. When the ball was on it's way and it looked like it was headed for the pin I thought 'wouldn't that be a great story to get a hole in one with this new club the first time out'. But I'll take 6 feet from the pin any day!
It definitely gets the ball in the air but I wouldn't say it balloons. I really like the trajectory. I think the thing I am most impressed with is the feel at impact. I don't know if that is from the shaft or the head but man does it have a sweet spot.
I hope to get to use it some more this week and if I have anything else to add I will. Like the others who reviewed it said, If you have trouble hitting long irons this baby is for you.

Thanks to all that participated in the Hybrid.... Seems that it brought in alot of positive reviews and has been a very hot seller for us this season...
CGS_Builder, I'm seriously considering a 3, 4, & 5 iron "set" of these. If you could, please PM me with a quote? Here are the specs I'd like:
True Temper Dynamic Gold Sensicore shafts in R300 @ standard length & lie, with the Sharpro grip like the one that was on the club we demoed.
Thanks in advance,
Tim
