Turbo Power Ti700 Driver

Ok, I know the Turbo Power Ti700 Driver LOOKS similar to the TaylorMade R7, but how much alike are the two clubs? If I go to a local shop and demo the TM R7, will that give me a good idea about how the Turbo Power Ti700 Driver will perform? Does it come with directions on how to place the weights for various ball flights, or is it trial and error?

Guess this doesn't rate getting answered here. How about a PM'd response?

I know www.customgolfsales.com carried them, I have hit that exact club, it is not a bad alternative at all, but the Taylor R-7 is a better "screw" system.

As far as directions, all you have to do is load the toe with the heaviest for less hook, or load the heel with most weight for more draw.

Hope this helps!

Give Christian a shout, he seems to be very helpful up here...

Sorry as I seem to of missed this question. My apologizes.....

The Ti700 is a good club and with a nice feel to it and has the same weight distribution as the R7 but seems to offer more of a mid launch as the R7 has more of a mid high launch. I would say that the playing characteristics are somewhat similar but not exact.

Hope this helps

Thanks, Christian. I guess with the proper shaft you could get the launch a little higher if needed? I'm going to try to get by one of the shops this next week and measure my swing speed, etc. Seems like everyone closes around 5 or 6 p.m. down here, and I've just been too busy during the day to get to one before that. Once I have some good measurements I'll call you about building me a driver! Still loving the sand wedge, by the way!

Looking forward to hearing from you. Make sure you keep up with your current launch, spin, side spin, ball speed, swing speed and what your tempo is. This will tell me alot about what shaft will work for your swing.

Christian,

Do you guys have a demo program to where Rewinders can demo this driver? I am really interested in trying the Ti700 out.

Jeff

Re: Turbo Power Ti700 Driver

carefull for knock off clubs that look like OEM models. They are usually cheap knockoffs which play like they are cheap. There is a reason they cost a fraction of a OEM. If you want real quality in a component club eithe a Tom Wishon Model or a KZG component. These are far and away the best components on the market. Not cheap knockoffs

Sorry but I will agree with you on the Tom Wishon but rather add Infiniti, Bang, Geek and Alpha to the list before I would KZG. Everyone has an opinion

Turbo Power isn't THAT bad either.
