I got mine last Sunday and I'm loving it. It took a while to get used to the feel of it, but now I'm crushing it. I think I've hit about 2 360 yarders with it (lots of roll obviously), and I never did that with my K or the TM 580XD I had for about a week and a half. I hit it a lot straighter than the K and about the only miss I have with it is just a push. Definately a 5.

i got my 905t and on the first day, i was just bombing it.

however, the 2nd day and on... im just hacking it... i was struggling to fix my horrible hook.

i just first day was just beginners luck.

i have to say.. it goes far though.

do u guys think this driver is less forgiving than the R7 and the SQ?

Not positive about the original r7, as it and the 905T are of equal size... the fact that you can shift weight farther back in the r7 MIGHT increase MOI slightly. The r7 425 will be a bit more forgiving than this club, and the r7 460 and SQ are both going to be a lot more forgiving than it.

Re: Titleist 905S & 905T Driver Review

OK, I played another round with it, my second full round with it.

I used it a lot today, despite playing on a course that was pretty tight, hole after hole.

I do NOT hit this as far as I hit my Taylormade. I hit it consistently the same distance, but when I connected with it, it did not go as far as my Taylormade would have.

BUT, I do hit it straighter. My Taylormade gives me more power, but I can miss the fairway with it more than I like. The Titleist 905s is a great club, but it's not the longest driver I own.

I will keep it. It was a good investment. When I play tighter courses, I'll use it. When I need a longer driver, I'll put my Taylormade back in the bag.

Re: Titleist 905S & 905T Driver Review

Wow, this is an old thread somebody dug up!!!

I recently went back to the 905S, after fits and nightmares of not being able to hit draws with some of the super-MOI drivers of 2007. It's COR is right at the legal limit so there should be no nonsense about it not being as "long" as other drivers. It's a great club, no doubt.
