My understanding is that the T version has a longer club head front to back allowing them to move the CG farther back creating a higher trajectory, while the S version has a taller face with the CG closer to the face creating a flatter boring trajectory, I've tried both at the range a couple a times and prefer the S, as much for the way it looks at address as anything.

All I can say is WOW! I just picked up my new driver today and headed to the range. The balance on this driver is incredible, it really feels like an extension of me. I really felt that whatever I did this driver would follow. After the first couple of heeled shots ( which still went fine) I adjusted myself and hit every one after that on the sweet spot. It flew straight and true, but with this driver I really felt that I could work the ball, now I have only been golfing just over a year but this driver is making it easier for me. It is a 10.5 A flex NV the ball flight is still a bit high for me but I didn't want to go too low on the loft as my swing is probably a bit too upright, I should probably flatten it out a bit. I was really concerned (buyers remorse) after I ordered it, as everything I read said this was a 'players' club and not for the novice, but I find it great. I am just a little lady but find this club very manageable.

I love this driver.

I bought the 905S, 8.5 with a Grafalloy Blue stiff shaft in April, after playing the 975D for about 3yrs. My accuracy has improved slightly, and my distance has improved dramatically. I am hitting more 300+ drives and hitting more par fives in two than ever before.

Make sure to tee it up high, and hit high on the face of the club. Seems to be the "hot spot" for the new drivers.

I play the exact driver!
It really is the best driver out in my opinion. As far as the difference I also like the S better than the T as far as lining it up.

After alot of driver testing, I bought the T with 8.5* and the NVS X flex

All I can say is POW!!! Was hitting the back fence on the range today with a slight draw. Estimate carry is about 20 yrds more than my MP001 which would put it about 275 I guess. Will know tomorrow after putting it in play. This flex was perfect combination for my launch angle and spin rate. It rocks.

I am looking into getting the 905, but I dont know which one, the T or S to get. I hit the ball at a medium trajectory, looking to get it higher a little. Right now I have a 8.5* Taylormade 360ti, its kicking the bucket. If I remember correctly the T, is a higher launch, and S is a lower, less spin launch. It seems that people like the S better. Im a 8 handicap right now, its up from 6 in mid-season. What degree and what model would you recommend for me. I'm really have heard some good things about this driver, and am looking hard to find a demo to try them out.

Thanks. -pinseeker

Maybe start out with a 9.5* T with the Aldila NV shaft... its a pretty good starting ground for this driver... demo that one, then go from there.

Are most of you who've found the 905 to be the real deal former owners of 983's....curious to know.
