I tried the 460 dual version with 11.5 and Aldila NV65R and was very impressed with the flight and carry of about 250yds with range balls. It flew very straight but I have not had a chance to compare with anything else yet (Mx500, F-Speed etc) At £199 in the UK it has some very tough competition.

Update:

I bought one of these Drivers a few months ago, even though I tested out different drivers that performed better. I thought that the cost was good enough to consider Adams, plus I was hoping that "a name brand would be as good as any other name brand", "its not the arrow, its the Indian", and all that.

Well, I think that the combination of the lower OEM quality, plus the stock Fujikura shaft makes this a poor performing driver. The shaft broke at the hosel within the first week, after it was repaired I got a crack in the crown about 2 months later. THe driver never felt right. Unless you hit it exactly on the sweet spot, it felt really bad & didnt go very far.

An average drive would go 210-220, and if I got lucky, it would top out at 260. Even though I hit the RPM 3 wood, with a Bimatrix shaft about 230-240, I would hold out on the driver thinking that its bound to go further. But it never did, I ended up playing many rounds using the 3 wood, knowing it would go just as far or farther, and be straighter.

After the crack in the crown was found, I said enough is enough. I've got an FSpeed and couldn't be happier. I'm using the same swing and hitting it 280+.

Only consider this driver if it has a better shaft than stock Fujikura. I like Adams, and think their woods, hybrids, and irons are among the best. But the drivers are really poor.

Adams RPM

62 year old golfer here.

My driving distance in the last two years has been slowly declining drastically.
I have tried the the R5 and the two weight R7, but to no avail. Recently I saw where TGW had the Adams Redline RPM models on sale for $99 with free shipping - on a whim I purchased the LH 460 RPM Draw model.

Guys, I have to say with the regular flex fuji stock shaft, I am killing this driver.
You have to realize on par 4's I was barely getting inside the 200 marker - now I am reaching about 20 yards inside the 150 marker - anyway I look at it this is an increase of 50-70 yards right down the middle. After 2 years of struggling I have finally got my distance back and the game is a whole lot more fun again.

Cannot say enough good things about this driver - I have the 10 degree loft and at that price it was a steal.

Brent
