This one of two drivers in my bag, i've played this one for two years since got it from Ebay. It came with a Grafalloy Blue (R). Redline 460 was one of the few driver heads went as big as 460 with conforming .83 C.O.R. Get used to the loud "tin can" sound when you launch it, it is a very fine driver. Quality to price wise, this is a bargain, after all Tom Watson, Allen Doyle... used to play it last year on the Champions Tour.
Too darn loud for my ears, although I have a buddy who has it as his top dog, I've hit it before and just got an empty feedback feeling from it...I prefer a more solid response when a ball is well struck...just my opinion.
I've got the redline titanium and I love the drive tons of yardage and very accurate..=)..it changed the way i play my game I use the redline woods too..=)
I have the newer 460D Redline RPM driver. I love it. Best driver I've hit to date. The 460D is a dual weight config. like the R5.
I'd recommend it to anyone. Adams clubs are way under-rated.
I have all Adams irons and wedges in my bag but drive with a Ping titanium. Friday when i was at the drivin range I sol or more like heard a guy with the Adams Redline 460. I ask him what he thought about it and the adjustable weight option. He said it was the best driver hes ever swung but he had never really played with the weights enough to notice a difference.
Has anyone here got any input on the driver and the weight adjustment?
I have a 10.5 set for Neutral with an NV 65 S shaft in it, it is very forgiving and can be long. I went through two different R5s before I bought it. I got it new for less than $100 on ebay - great value.

I have the non-adjustable draw model (titanium) at 10 degrees loft. I love it! I think I should have gotten 9 degrees though, my average drives are between 200 and 240 yards. I think with a 9 degree I could get it farther.

That is until I made a bad swing at the range a few weeks back. I hit a ball towards the toe on the topline (not a pop-up, but right on the line).
The next day a noticed what looked like a wrinkle in the top, not really noticeable from every angle but it suddenly looked a little flawed. Next time at the range a hit a few more balls and then it was - I managed to crack the composite top and it caved in a little. I made an attempt to repair it but no good.
Anyone need a NV65S shaft with Golf Pride new decade grip?

I bought it severely discounted on ebay - there is nothing to be gained there. If I had bought it from a retailer I would have brought it back to them, but I don't have much recourse now.
I have been really interested in the Adams RPM 460 Dual drivers, so I decided to run to the local GolfSmith and try it out on their indoor range before I purchased it.
I'm glad I did, because it just didn't feel right or hit right (it could be because it was used as a demo for the range, and hit a lot). I normally get about 95-100 mph swing speed, and hit the driver 200-225 yds. With the Adams driver, I only got to about 180-190 yds.
Then I tried my second choice, the Cobra F/Speed. I immediately went from hitting 180-190 and maxxing out at 205 on the Adams, to hitting 220-230 and maxxing out at 235. I could easily and safely say that there was a 30 yard difference.
I guess each person will benefit from a different driver somewhat, but the difference in these is far greater than a proper fitting. (they were both 10.5 deg, 45" shaft)
I'll go back in a few days to see if the Cobra does better again. If so, then I'll abandon getting Adams.
