I have been happy with mine after learning how to set it up properly.

After the honeymoon period, I lost my touch and put it away. After working on various setups, I figured out how to hit this baby straight.

I will demo the XL but I don't play to 'fix what ain't broke'.

I just can not seem to hit the hi bore...Its the most hooky club I have ever hit, and I hated the feel....I have a feeling the XL is going to be much better!

Really liking my HiBore right now... I tee it up at the range on either a 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" tee and it works pretty nicely. I actually like the noise it makes. People on the range seem to notice how "different" it is.

FYI - the HiBore XL ($300) and XL Tour ($360) are available at golfsmith.com now.

The website says that the Tour model is 3° open. I don't remember seeing another club that open at address.

I bought the Hibore about 3 months ago. I hit it well at first; straight and long. The more I play, the more i hook it? Ive never hooked in my life. Im sure its my swing causing it. I like the way it looks and sounds. I guess i need to learn to swing it.

i have just got mine 10.5 with nv 65 s shatf goes straigh and i can even fade it. i used to hit a taylormade 540 and i could aim it right and it would hook to the left deep rough. this club feels and sounds grate i have now go alot of confidence stepping up onto the tee. i played yesterday hit all but 2 firways and hit a 73 1 over 58 net. get one best money i have every spent on golf.

I have tried this driver...it is great for accuracy but useless for distance..in my opinion, you are better off using a 3 wood off the tee, because that's basically what it is. Even if you get this club fitted to you, you WILL NOT get the distance of most any other driver. The Hibire XL, is coming out soon, supposedly cleveland fixed the distance problems. I will be testing this whn it comes out.

the NEW hi-bore is worth waiting for if it isn't out in your area yet.
it is longer than the 06 model.

That's what I've been hearing..but Golsmith.com says you place a preorder now..so we may have to wait a while longer til we know for sure. I for one, can't wait to try it! The Hibore has it's place. On thoses shots where you need just pinpoint accuracy, it is perfect, but it will be short. The new XL, according to Cleveland, will be longer, and much easier to work...sounds great!

HURRY UP CLEVELAND!!!

if you just want the stock shaft, tgw has them now. If your wanting custom its going to be a couple more weeks I think. I am hoping its not too much longer anyhow.

Liking my HiBore (10.5*, stock Fuji stiff) right now... I'm a high-handicapper, but on the range I can hit it 225-250, so if I'm losing distance compared to other drivers, that bodes well for the future!!! This is my first name-brand driver, and loved the under-$200 price at Rock Bottom...
