Re: Cleveland HiBore Driver Review

I have the XL model and love it. It is a bit on the loud side for me. The only thing I don't like is the shaft tip is not stiff enough for me so eveyonce in a while when I get on it I'll either put a fade or a draw on it(which ever one would have the worst effest most the time). I want to demo the XLS model just to see of they took care of the soundness with the composite construction.

9.5* Stiff stock shaft HiBore

Hit about 25 balls at the range. Played this driver for about 5 holes. My buddy actually got one for his birthday and I used it just to try it out. This thing is loud! It's not the Cobra or Sumo loud but the nice sharp PING loud. Trajectory was a bit high. This thing flew higher than my 10.5* Rapture. Distance was decent, comparable to a G5 maybe a bit shorter. Sets up slightly closed which I don't like. Feels pretty solid. Good amount of forgiveness. I'm sticking with my Rapture. More forgiveness and another 20+ yards. Overall the HiBore is a pretty good driver. Good bang for the buck.

Re: Cleveland HiBore Driver Review

You should be focusing on the shaft of the club, not the driver head. The shaft probably does not fit your swing or optimize your swing. Some people struggle with the square drivers. Just some thoughts.
