Re: Bang Storm

The Bang Storm has been in the bag for most of the season. It offers more of a mid to low launch and low spin for those more aggressive golfers.

Re: Bang Storm

Hi Guys,

I have The Storm Driver 9.5* with the Grafalloy Comp NT - Proto X-Stiff "46"and 3 Wood with the Grafalloy Comp NT - Proto "43" X-Stiff and i think they are excellent clubs. Both clubs are very forgiving as they have deep faces. Like all component stuff the key is understanding your own swing and what your trying to achieve. I wanted a Driver/3 Wood that flew lower as i hit the ball high. I have achieved this with the head and shaft set up.

I find the ball flight is now moderate with good roll, which suits the courses here in Dubai. I get a nice draw on both when i hit it correctly.

Hope this helps

Re: Bang Storm

I bought a Bang Storm on Ebay. The first time i took it for a walk i had mixed results. One bomb, but some of the ones that seem well hit did not carry real well. Part of that is it being 40 degrees, and a little mushy, but i thought i would get more carry.
I wonder if the shaft could be a little stiff. I think if I work on playing a good fade. The bomb i hit was toward the trees on the left and came back into play way down there.
A question i have is if I extend the shaft a couple inches, I have played with a 48" with some success, would it make the shaft a little bit more flexible.
The head is a10.5 degree.

Re: Bang Storm

If you extend the shaft 2" it will cause the shaft to play atleast a whole flex softer than it is now. Usually 1.5" changes it a flex. Hope this helps.

Re: Bang Storm

Thanks, I think that will help. I have played a 48" snake eyes driver with some success, so i thought this might be a cheap fix for the Bang Storm. I just played it the day after Christmas again, and i find it really accurate.
I always wanted to try a Bang, and 50 bucks was a good price.
