Re: Cobra HS9 Driver

I hit this driver about a year ago and i was very impressed, the particular club i hit was a 10.5 i believe wich for me is to much loft but the ball had amazing spring effect. Overall i was very impressed with this driver. It can be had for a good price i believe.

Re: Cobra HS9 Driver

The HS9 was advertised just a couple months after the original Speed series. Unfortunately, Cobra was unable to deliver these drivers right away. The website advertised them and the back orders piled up. This is first hand experience from our pro shop.

Most of the people that had them on order got fed up and changed their order. Now that the Speed LD/Pro series is out, the HS9's are old hat. If you have ever seen one, they're not really close to limit dimensions like the Burner or the new Speed LD series so the MOI can't be as high as the newer offerings. They never had any tour representation either.

Marketing-wise, they were a flop. The original Speed series was a very big hit and the new Speed LD series is very popular as well.

Re: Cobra HS9 Driver

I just bought an HS9 for and love club. It goes long and straight which for me is a great thing.
