Thumbs down Taylor Made r7 Superquad

I am currently playing the Taylor Made r5 dual TP Type D driver and I hit hit well. However as I usually change drivers every 18-24 months it was time to look around. I decided since I had sucsess with Taylor Made that I would give the r7 Superquad a try. The club in my opinon is the sharpest looking driver on the market. That all black look is hot! Too bad it didn't perform up to its looks. The sound is horrible, dull and sounds painful like the club face is not supposed to be making contact with the ball. I am very suprised becauce the sound on my r5 is great. I can definetly tell when I make solid contact with the ball. This was not the case with the r7 Superquad. For the Price I was more then disapointed and have since sold the r7 on e-bay. I will stick with my r5 for now and look for something else during the off season.
