Cobra L4V F-Speed
I bought the first one that came into our local Edwin Watts. A few months ago I was going to buy the Cobra LD, but the salesman suggested that I wait and try the L4V. Well I got to hit a demo unit last week in Dallas before they were released and the Monitor data was impressive. Straight to barely noticeable fade, 260-275yds.
Well I did not get to play a round with it this weekend, but I did take it to the range for an hour this afternoon. The club really looks good at address, very easy to square up. The club looks really nice in general, I hate to say it but the prettiest driver I have ever owned.
So, I am at the range and for the first time I can really feel the club head at the start of the downswing and it really feels like it is pulling towards the ball. After a few 50% shots to get a feel for it I bumped it up to about 80% and I was nailing 250yd average drives with range rocks. I was hitting nice tight shots straight with a slight draw or fade. It only hit two slices and those were all me, I have to fight to keep my left arm hugged to my chest so much so it is really my only major swing thought.
So just for fun I pulled 5 old worn E6s out of my bag and I was launching them 270yds with one possibly going about 320 or so.
Final thought, this is the easiest to hit drive I have ever owned if there is one down side to ii, it is Loud, really loud. But heck straight and long beats out loud anyday. Oh and did I say it is an awesome looking club with a magnetic closure headcover that looks spiffy to boot.
