Not to be flip but if you tried it and like it then what else is there!?!? I personally have an irrational hate of all products callaway except for their classic warbird fairways...there is no real reason, just don't like their stuff...that should influence you in no way as their drivers are as good if not better than most and are played and loved by lots of people...

Test it, get on a monitor if you can and run numbers with different shafts (fitting stations with the changeable shafts) and find the perfect combination...loving the club is half the battle...I say go for it

i was against Callway until I tried their X Hot Fairway wood. I also love the D2 and Gamer golf balls which is made by Callaway. I also loved the Hx Hot Golf ball. I'm still not a big fan of Callaway, but I think better of some of their stuff. Now, I am not a big fan of Nike stuff

Re: New Callaway Hyper X Driver

I had the first generation X driver (460X Tour) and it was great. I should never have gotten rid of it. It was the club junkie in me that wanted the supposed next biggest and best thing. I think the Hyper X is very similar... easy to hit on a high trajectory and confidence inspiring.
