Guess you bought it without trying it eh? But not to worry. If you are plying the original FTi, there is a greater than average chance you will like the FTiQ.
You did not mention how you configured it, but the Fubuki 63 - not the 60 - is a shaft that has pleased many people, and confused others - on par for the sport! The FTiQ isn't a miracle worker, but it does come close. A bad swing will give you a bad shot no matter what you are hitting, but the FTiQ is certainly very forgiving.
I hope you like it and it works for you! Good Luck!

Actually my FT-i was damaged and Callaway is warranty it out with the FT-iQ. I kind of have no choice (in a good way) which is why I was asking about it.
It will be 10 degree loft with a Reg flex shaft. Not sure if that is the 60 or 63 Fubuki shaft.
Well, awesome upgrade for you. I never hit it, because I knew if I liked it, I would have to spend 500.00 on a new driver, and that's not gonna happen.
i LOVE mine... besides being obnoxiously loud, and people at the range asking "what the **** is that" (because of the sound) its one of the best drivers ive ever used!
If its a 10 degree you are getting the 60 shaft. The "Tour" models are on the "half" degree. Still - the iQ is a better club than the FTi. I didn't find the sound offensive. I came from using a HiBore Xl, and that, to me, is a much more clanky sound.
Well I got and have been using it. First impression was it looked a lot better at address then the FT-i, not so sqaurish. The sound at impact is tons better. Overall I really like this driver. Feels better, sound better, and I'm more confident in hitting it then I was with the FT-i.
a couple weeks ago i cracked my ft-i tour driver...i took it in and callaway sent me back the ft-iq tour back...i hit it about 15 times today...i really like it alot better than the ft-i tour
I am just getting back inot the game after a long hiatus. I needed new woods and was eyeing the FT-IQ. I demoed it and chili-dipped the first 5 shots.
I was hesitant about spending $500 on a driver but they were having a "buy the driver and get 2 free fairway woods" offer. So I bought it.
Went to the range and again, chili-dipped the first 5 shots. I figured that I maybe swinging a lot harder since the club is soooooooo much lighter than my 20 year old driver.
I slowed my swing down and WAM!
After I got used to the club I was hitting them long & straight. In fact, straighter then I have ever hit drives.
Great club. The sound isn't objectionable either. Some of those drivers on the range are down right LOUD and clanky.
The first things that comes to notice are the sound and the feel. It's a very quiet driver, and it feels like you're not hitting anything at all, that's how smooth it feels. It is pretty straight, but still workable. For me, it was alsoan average of 10-15 yards shorter than a titanium driver.
All in all, a very nice driver, but not the club for me.
