A really great club. Standing over it really inspires confidence. I found that I felt less like I needed to swing hard, which resulted in more shots launched from the center of the clubface = very good distance. I also went with the NV65S and that combo is just amazing for faster swing speeds.

I also hit a few very near the toe and still found the middle of the fairway and the 250 yard marker -- nice!

This club gets me excited about hitting my driver again.

Cleveland 460 Launcher W/Grafolloy Blue Shaft

Hi all,

First new thread for me here, was wondering how many of you play 460 Launcher with Grafalloy Blue shaft here. How was it compared with Adila NV 65 shaft? Is the extra long 46" Blue shaft causing any inconsistency than stock 45" Fujikura?

Guess I need a low to mid ball fly to have more rolls on the fairway.
I read on other forum that people talked about low torgue of the Grafalloy Blue will generate lower trajectory than will Adila NV65 or Grafalloy Pro Launch. Bottom line: Can you benefit it from a Cleveland 460 9.5* Launcher w/Graf Blue shaft in seeking a mid trajectory than other shafts?

Thanks!

Pulled my 460 Launcher stock Fuji stiff shaft and reshafted it with UST Profroce V2 65 regular (ideal for driver SS 85-95 mph), I'm a happier golfer.

yesterday i bought the 2006 cleveland launcher 460cc 9.5 loft. and its THE BEST! its reallly forgiving, its apperance is great and u get alot of distance off it. i was deciding between the new king cobra x xpeed 460cc, sirxon w-403AD, cleveland launcher 460ccand the nike sasquatch also. but the golf guy recomended me that the cleveland launcher 460cc is a great club and is very popular. i bargined it down with a odyssey 2 ball putter, all for 400. i think it was worth every penny :)

ive hit them all, and i mean all and i own the cleveland. my average dist is in the 300s but thats not why i own it. I spent nearly 7 hours hitting every driver on the market at the time and i was more consitantly on the center line with this thing than any other driver.

keep in mind i was using the same shaft in every head. so it was a decently fair test.

I demoed a 9.5* 460cc Launcher with a Graffaloy Prolaunch 65S shaft today alongside my 10* Ping G2 with the same shaft. Nice club but no more distance than the G2, averaged 240 fly with both having the same trajectory and neither being any straighter than the other. Am really starting to believe that if you find a head you like and match it with a great shaft then you'll be in business. Anyway, the G2 stays in the bag.

I've had a 460 Launcher for about 6 months but had the stock shaft in it which didn't work for me. Got it reshafted with a Acculaunch 70 g stiff shaft and played last week at a fairly tight course where they've held the first round of tour qualifying and hit every fairway with about an additional 15-20 yards of distance. Paired with the right shaft for your swing, the Launcher almost feels like cheating it's so easy to hit long and straight. I was amazed how easy golf becomes when you're hitting it fairly long and in the fairway on every hole
