Once I trim off some of this Christmas credit card debt, I may end up purchasing one of the 410cc ones. Using the 450cc TI from Nike now, and it is a brute for sure. Would love to practice with the Ignite during the early spring, then blast it out in May during my works golf tourny. . . weee! :)
I didn't buy the 410cc for workability, I just think it looks a ton better than the 460cc and sounds a whole lot better. I have an NV-65 in the Ignite right now but I think I'm going to pick up a Ping G2 with an Accra shaft after the holidays, that's the most forgiving driver I've swung.
Workability with a driver to me is an oxymoron. . .as a mid to high handicapper, I just need the ball in play off the tee. :) The TI has done me well, and I am sure the Ignite will do the same.
I just got the Nike Ignite 410cc with the stock fujikura regular flex, I am new to golf played a few years back but just got into it again. I have always sliced my drives but with the ignite 410cc I hit alot more straight and longer drives. But regardless its your swing that makes it, I like nike golf clubs and will continue to buy them. For the people who wont buy just cause they can give in to buying a NIKE product all well whatever..... I have hit a few drivers before I bought the Ignite 410cc , TaylorMade, calloway, The titleist was nice aswell but the best to me as a new player to golf was the Ignite. I felt I hit the best with the Nike Ignite 410cc.. Just my .02
Yeah they are but.... I alot of peoples opinions on Nike are they just hate all Nike products, the only players are the big 4... Nike makes a great club and there Ignite Drivers is up there with the best of them. It all comes down to trying them out see which one feels the best.
I just got one and in my first two rounds I have never hit so many long bombs in the fairway. I usually hit about 1 or 2 300yd drives a round but with this club I hit at least 7. Very forgiving and long. I would recommend for anyone wanting a long forgiving driver. Aftermarket shaft is a must though.
The longest hitter I have ever played with uses the MacGregor Eye-O-Matic, but switched to the Nike 460 for a couple of rounds only to go back tot he MacGregor. This driver sounds great and goes as far as anything else, but it seems a bit harder to control.
I have a bunch of them now...just can't hit them personally. They sell well, though. The 460 cc size is just massive and unworkable for me. The 410 I played for a few rounds and it's ok...ended up going back to my trusty Titleist and stayed with it the rest of the summer.
Ive had the Ignite and the Slingshot irons for about 10 months and they`re great. They dont always go dead staight but the driver just gently fades, it doesnt slice because i dont cast my club from out to in and blame it if it does go wrong. I didnt buy it for the name cos nike`s clubs are as good as the rest of the top brand clubs (my opinion). Ive played a round using my mates r7 (slight fade setting) and it was pants, didnt like the look, feel, weight or sound, so that was £200 saved.
When i clock the Ignite i tend to carry (summer) about 240-260 and then about 300-320 total distance, which aint bad in England`s damp air. I also find it really easy to control the draw/fade on it.
All in all i think its an honest club with no sales gimmicks (r7,r5) at a great price.
Mojo what shaft do you have.. I personally slice anyway but I just reshafted it with the Aldila NVS 55 reg flex the torque is 4.4 so I hope it helps me out with the slice.. I had the stock FUJI shaft in it.

Mines the standard FUJI regular shaft, my swing speed is medium to a bit quicker (dont know in mph, maybe 80-90 ish) but my clubhead speed is quick as i release all my clubs as late as poss, so the whip on the flex is great for me.The slower and smoother i swing with the Ignite then it really goes long, even with non dead center hits. In the UK they`re down to £180.00 (erm in dollars.................$250.00 ish)
I tried the 40cc ignite yesterday with the regular stock shaft. After a couple of long walks without talking to my partners I did walk off the 2 druives i hit with this club.
1st drive: 287 2: 335 downwind as well as great distance, The 460 head seems to be very forgiving, Though aI must say it dosnt look like 460cc.
