Nike Ignite Driver Review

Simply amazing. Hitting extremely short irons into most par 4's. I'm very impressed with the accuracy and superman-like drives.

My buddy just got one, and slices it every time. Even I slice it more than I hit it straight. I would prefer the r7 or the r5 over it though.

Well, Tiger's swing speed is supposed to be about 140 mph with the big dog, and he averages 300+.

It's actually more like 118-125, from what I've heard.

Yeah. . . that must be it. . .

Heaven forbid someone use clubs that are not made by Taylormade, Ping, Callaway, etc.

A 130 mph swing will produce anywhere from 325+ (thats if you don't slice/hook the **** out of it cause your swinging so hard and make good contact)

Tigers swing is around 128. At the battle of the bridges which was televised, they where showing swing speed, spin rate, and distance on almost every shot. Tigers best was 128 I believe, but majority was around 120.

I tested around 10 of the top new drivers and multiple shafts with each driver head. The Nike Ignite with the Aldila NV shaft was by far the longest club I hit. Both on the course and on the launch monitors, it produced excellent trajectory. The accuracy was excellent. I would recommend this driver to anyone who likes hitting short irons to the green, it's not a joke.

The Titleist 983K is excellent as well. AS WITH ANY DRIVER, MAKE SURE YOU ARE FITTED FOR THE CORRECT SHAFT.

If you slice and duckhook your drives, can't break 90, etc....sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news...it ain't your club's problem. Your opinions are without merit.

This is an excellent club. Do your game a favor and think outside the mass-marketing hype.

I really like the 410cc Ignite, not a huge fan of the 460cc model though.

It's the indian not the arrow that will make you slice, push, pull the ball, NOT the driver.

No doubt. I'm sure you can work the ball a little better with the 410cc if you're a superior player. But for the masses, including myself, I typically don't argue too much with obcenely long and straight drives as i've experienced with the 460cc. I used the play the 975J which is definitely a smaller and more workable head, but my drives are so much better now with the 460cc, I'm definitely hard pressed to switch to anything else. It's looooooooooooong baby.
