Heading to Marbella Next Week

My in-laws are coming to visit us in Spain and we'll be staying in Marbella for a week. My father-in-law doesn't want to golf anywhere too challenging. Somewhere nice, but kinda open. He shoots in the high 90s/low 100s. We're looking to golf two or three times. Also, we don't want to spend over 80 Euros. Any suggestions?

Mijas used to be good value for money.

Thanks, we hit up Mijas today. Didn't realize it was a Robert Trent Jones designed course. Open fairways, but lots of bunkers around each green. Very nicely maintained. We paid 115 Euros for 2 of us with a GPS cart. Probably normal rate around here. Anyways,I think we're going to try Los Naranjos or La Quinta next.

Re: Heading to Marbella Next Week

Well, we enjoyed the course at Mijas so much, we went back. They have two 18 hole courses, Los Lagos and Las Olivas (or something like that, Lakes and Olives). Lagos was the one with open fairways and a few more water hazards. Olivas was more challenging with more narrow fairways, more dog legs, and longer par 4s. Both courses have bunkers completely surrounding them. Both courses were perfectly manicured. Very well kept. Greens were nice, fairways were perfect, and views were spectacular. There is a par 5 on Lagos, which is well over 600 yards (not sure exact distance). I read it is one of the longest in Spain. Anyways, just wanted to write a mini review. I would definitely recommend these two courses.
