Adams Insight BUL 3 Wood
I needed to replace my ****** cheapo 3 wood so I went on rock bottom golf and checked out there fairway woods. After doing some research and did not want a big head 3 wood I decided to get the Adams Insight.
I went to the driving range yesterday to try it out. First imppression was the shaft looked cheap. No graphics, plain black looking made by Aldila (NV75). The head was plain looking with a Ti face and SS body.
My old Walter Hagin 3 wood was kind of heavy feeling and made a clunk when you hit. I took a few practice swings and right away I notice it felt better then my old 3 wood. My first swing was a conservative swing with the new club and I hit the ball straight roughly 190 yards carry with a nice mild tink sound. It actually felt good. I hit another ball and again 190ish carry and straight. So I decided to swing normal which for me still is not hard and the ball had a slight slice or tail to it but carried 205 yards. The face it very hot, the ball seem to explode off it even though I do not have a high swing speed. Now my old 3 wood I could only hit it 180 yards tops. One thing I never teed the ball, all my swings was off the mat using range balls.
So overall I was please with the club. Not a fancy or high tech looking club but still gets the job done with the same results as a highend club. On a scale 1-10 with 10 being an awesome club I give it 8.
If you are looking for a 3 wood and do not want to spend a lot of money on one, I recommend looking at this club.
