As Stlcard_25 approaches the 3000 hit club

As Card trudges his way to the 3000 post plateau, maybe we need to re-evaluate our standard of greatness. In this era of superior technology and chemical enhancement perhaps we need to take another look at our standards here. Should we reward mere longevity with the ultimate honor ? Aren't there many among us who could've acheived the same were we afforded the luxury of tap, tap, tapping away 23 & 1/2 hours a day on GR at the expense of family, school, friends & work ? Do we really want to reward this sort of behavior ? He may already have stumbled across the barrier as I type this. What do you think ???

He must be preparing his acceptance speech right now... 3000! I'm on here just about every day, but at my current pace that would take me years! maybe I need some of that new technology or something...

Congratulations on attaining the third leg of the GR Grand Slam....3000 posts. 3000 is just a number and certainly doesn't reflect the hard work and dedication that you've put in (day in and day out) to making Golf Rewind a clean, civil, and friendly golf site.

We play these little post number award games, but I certainly know the work you've put in both on the site and behind the scenes. Thank you Stlcard_25 for all you've done for all of us. We all owe you a debt of gratitude.

Thank you all so very much for the warm congratulations. Also, thanks (league, Forged, Jim, valeogut, victory ) for putting up with my rambling, incoherent thoughts that probably would have made everyone in here a little bit dumber if they had really been paying attention during the MLB playoffs last year. I enjoy the time I spend in here helping to try to make this a better place, whether it be through keeping the site clean with my moderating pals or trying to provoke thoughtful, intelligent discussion through my posts, or even on occasion an attempt at humor . All of you guys certainly make it much easier for me to do so.

BTW GG, thanks for the kind words, but the Pink Jacket is still on backorder. You're just gonna have to keep that one for a little while longer.

Well now...there's a solution. Looks like we have some bad news and some good news GG. The bad news is that we had to cancel the order for your Pink Jacket. The good news is that we just saved a boatload of money by switching to someinfidel for all our jacket-altering needs!

Indian giver!!!!! Nah, j/k. I didn't want it anyway. People might get the wrong idea about me if I were wearing it around campus.
