Thanks to everyone that posted in this thread. I really expected to get beat up a bit more but the fact that I didn't just reflects the quality of GR members. 4000 is just a number.....it's the members and the fun that I've had here with most of you that keeps me here.

Golf Rewind was just a couple of weeks old when I found my way here and shortly after Victory asked me to be on the first moderating team. I took that responsibility seriously and that's what has lead to the 4000 posts. That and the fact that some of you crazies just won't leave well enough alone and I have to get my 2 cents in!

Thanks to all of you for making it an enjoyable ride. If you think the first 4000 got on your nerves........watch what happens the next 4000! You guys make this place a great place to visit. Keep up the good work.

I have to say League is my favorite poster. You can always count on him to get straight to the point and not suffer fools lightly. His use of sarcasm is sublime, and never offensive. I have no idea how old he is, but the word curmudgeon comes to mind when I read his replies.

Curmudgeon!!! You'll pay for that dante! That burns me up but nothing like the dante's inferno you've got coming!

Let's just say I'm on the OG team but I'm still playing from the tips! (and thanks for the kind words )

I'm still in the process of testing the things! I want to play a minimun of 10 rounds with them so I can give a fair and accurate evaluation!

Look for a update early next week.

Off topic but does 40 qualify as OG? Curmudgeon is a compliment, as I can be one sometimes as well.

Yes, you qualify as an OG so come play with the men and leave the children at home. We'd love to have you so just PM Stagday right away and let him know you're in!

My Webster's says......curmudgeon n A bad tempered, ill mannered man.

That's not a compliment where I come from!

Well, in the technical sense I guess it's not, but it is said in a tone of amused admiration.

Then it's accepted in the spirit it was offered.

But don't think for one minute that gets you off the hook!

Got one buddy! A beautiful wife that works midnights, an all A student, athletic 10 year old son, and a home office that allows me all the time I want on GR! You're just jealous!
