Leaguegolf breaks 5000?

I happened to check leaguegolf's user profile a bit ago and notice that he was over the 5,000 post mark!! Since he's already the first and likely only GRer to ever complete the League Slam (4,000 posts in one calendar year), we've run out of names for the completion of each 1,000 post level. I suppose this thread would do for suggestions.

Congrats league, and thanks for making this forum a better and more entertaining place each and every time you click the "submit" button.

To give some idea of league's dominance in the pantheon of "great" posters in GR history...there are two GRers reading this thread at the moment...and two pretty heavy posters as well....stagday and I. Combine our posts and you just edge out league. Dominant indeed.

That's a lot of opinions, so the law of averages say you have it get it right sometimes!

Keep posting ,someone with the wrong opinion is more interesting than someone with no opinion.Just because we agree on 90% does not mean we can not have fun with the other 10%

Look at it this way Lefty.....at least you know you're right 90% of the time! I'm glad to see that you have a sense of humor about the 10% that you're wrong.

What makes you think I don't?

5000 is just a number and it's one that hopefully many of the rest of you will reach too. As one of the first members of GR (member #23) and one of the two original moderators, I have spent a lot of time here, along with so many others, helping to build GR into the great golf site that it has become. Why would I want to go any place else?

Being a moderator lends itself to being involved in more threads and more posts. It's part of the job. While some of us may not always see eye to eye (sometimes that's where the fun comes in.....right Lefty? ) voicing opinions that will elicit responses is what helps make GR an interesting place and I've been known to have an opinion or two.

The bottom line is that I enjoy all of your company and without all of you GR would be nothing. I'll do my best to make the next 5000 posts funnier, friendlier, and more opinionated than the first 5000. I know....I know.....that won't be all that hard!

That's the attitude that makes leaguegolf such a valuable asset to Golf Rewind, always trying to be "funnier, friendlier, and more opinionated," even when he falls short of those lofty goals.

He's the intellectually sharpest, funniest, most creative, and most demanding moderator of the GR team; and we're fortunate to have him here. :nodsmiley
