Wouldn't be a complete coincidence that this milestone occurred right around the time of MLB postseason play, would it, 'card?

Seriously, congrats and thanks for all the good work you do for Golf Rewind. You're a major player in making GR be the special place that it is.

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen and PingsRBest...this is a place I enjoy very much and am thankful that one day last August, jcgolfpro brought to the attention of the ESPN golf board that there was a troll-free alternative. I jumped at the chance and haven't looked back (for the most part

). I've thoroughly enjoyed writing all 5000 of the posts I've made here, and I hope they brought some enjoyment or at least provocation of thought for those that read them. I look forward to many more good times in the future with my good friends at Golf Rewind.

Thanks again guys...the list of congratulators here reads like a list of the folks whose posts I enjoy here most, so coming from all of you, it means something.

Sure, there are a few more, but I'm sure they have a good reason not to be here. I heard there was a roadkill on the road on the way to the party...one member wanted to stop and have it for dinner, while the other wussed out.
