Alliteration aside, I signed on and happened to notice that Greg has hit the 1000 post barrier. I think he's only the second non-American and first Canadian to make it. Thanks for your contributions to the forum Greg, I always enjoy your zany posts. Oh, and as a gift, I'll send this freezing rain/snow mix we're getting here up to you.
P.S. I'm sure your Green Jacket dinner will include beer and maple syrup...I think that's about all Canada is good at producing......but if you'd like to throw in a few other things, feel free.

Don't forget the Canadian Bacon for our north of the border ham bone!
Congrats and welcome to the club! Please try not to pull a 2005 Mike Weir.......don't disappear in 2006!
I saw Weir's Green Jacket ceremony but I must've missed his GR plug!
Thanks everyone. I'm gonna need about a day to think up some food for the ceremony dinner, but I promise it'll be good.
FYI: Legal drinking age here is 19, so I'm not too far off the mark. Of course, off the record, you can drink from the point where you can walk. My friend Adam has a baby picture of himself at 3 weeks of age, holding a beer bottle.
I'm sure I'll bake up something nice to ward off Forged's Roadkill Buffet.
Congrats, Greg. Now let's see that menu... I'm starving.
Love your signature, BTW. His Royal Purpleness is a neighbor of mine, given that all Minnesotans are neigbors to all other Minnesotans.
OK here's the menu (my ceremony will go all day, so we'll be eating stuff for every meal ):
Pancakes with maple syrup with a side of back bacon for breakfast,
Freshly baked bread for the cheddar cheese and Atlantic salmon melts for lunch,
Dinner will consist of roasted chicken and corn from the barbeque, along with French onion soup, tortiere and shepherd's pie.
For dessert, freshly baked Tim Horton's donuts. I know, it's not that great, but what do you want? I get a 20% discount there so why not use it? Plus if we wait a couple days for this reception, a birthday cake.
Beverages will consist of Labatt Blue, Molson Canadian, Budweiser, Coors, and a selection of fine Niagara wines. And some egg nog since 'tis the season, hot chocolate (and boy, up here do we need it!), a few Juicy-Juice boxes and soda for the young'ens here.
And just for Forged, we'll hit a beaver with my pickup truck and serve it up on a platter.
A belated congrats on the 1000 posts, Greg. They are invariably bright and often hilarious (especially the shots at leaguegolf... keep those coming ). I look forward to your continued participation and that dinner is looking good....
but who told you about Forged's beaver hunting exploits in his pickup ?
