Fun golf challenges. Any Ideas?

Im one of these people that loves to do odd things especially if its golf related like midnight golf with glow and the dark balls and flags. Beer golf, play 18 holes with only one club etc.

Play left-handed (if you're a north paw).
Play with an old set of clubs - one where the heads of the woods are made of wood.
Can't think of anymore.

Last year i went to scotland and we play "woooof" golf whit friends and local. Each team (we played four balls) had 3 or 5 "wooof" they could scream at any moment when the player of the other side were swinging...

In france, during the winter, aka recreation time, we're used to kick the friend's ball in the rough or plugg it in the bunker... Nothing serious but what is done is done. If you are plugged, you don't have a free drop, or you have to pay a beer...

I enjoy playing with a Tennis Ball when there is snow on the ground.

You play the same as normal but just have to hit the 'Pin'.

Another game we used to play on a night was "Yellowsomes".

It is played as a match-play, with all players driving off.
Then a team picks which of there opponents ball is to be played and you continue as normal foursomes from there.

Here's something I'd love to do (I think I heard about it in a Dan Jenkins novel). Look at a map of the course and identify the tee and the green that are separated by the greatest distance. Then play that as if it were a golf hole. (Obviously, you should do this when no one else is on the course.)

At my home course, for example, I think it would be from the 15th tee to the 4th green (opposite ends of the course). I think it would be about a par 13. Different players might chart different routes to get there. Some might want to go through the driving range; others might want to take their chances going through the maintenance area. What a hoot that would be!

we use to play an @@@ hole tournament at a club i was a memebr in Virginia.
It was 2 man captains choice and once a hole you got to pick whick ball your opponants played, at anytime during the hole. So if they both hit good drives, let em choose, then when one hits the green, and one goes in the pond, choose the pond shot. then they drop play fourth from the drop to the hole....the idea was to be the biggest a-well you know...to the other team you could in return for them doing it to you...and all groups were told to do the same. The lowest score won the trophy of a horses back half mounted on a wooded base. It was lot of fun, and sure there was some bruised ego's and hissy fits, but pretty much laughed off at the end...

Play

Pick Up Sticks

If you win a hole, you take away one of your opponent's clubs or take back one of your own. Clubs can be immune such as a driver and/or putter.

In reply to Jimsomebody.
You can take that idea and add a twist. I used to be an Assistant Pro at a 9 Holer and if the course was closed we played 'Draw Golf'.
You stand on the 1st Tee and have eight numbers in a hat/box (Nos 1 - 8), you draw a number and you play to that green. After holing out you proceed to the next Tee and draw another number and play to that green and so on. After eight holes you are on a Tee and you play to the 9th green.
Great Fun if used with other 'games'.

Once set up a match Captain Vrs Vice Captain (these were non playing).
Each side had Five players:-
1 hit Driver & 3 wood.
2 hit Long Irons.
3 hit Short Irons.
4 hit Chips & Bunker shots.
&
5. hit Putts.
The Captains & Vice Captain picked which shot was to be played.
It was great fun and should be tried at some stage by every golfer.
