Valeogut, one of our earliest members has completed the second leg of the GR grand slam! Congrats buddy and welcome to the club. It has been a pleasure to read each and every one of your posts. Gr has been a much better place with you as a member!
Has our valeogut decided to move from the realm of golf forum posting into artificial limb creation? Perhaps that bothersome old knee has been replaced by a shiny new titanium one...again. At any rate, the "valeogut is falling apart" tour shall continue, brought to you by Golf Rewind...the worldwide leader in smart- comments since 2004.
So, anyway...congratulations on making it to 2000 valeogut! I've thoroughly enjoyed the contributions you've made to style and eloquence here...it's something that is surely lacking in today's society. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to the next 2000.
2000? Ha! Half of that those were slings and arrows in my direction! ..............and the other half were gems!
Thanks, old friend, for what you do and what you've done. You, as an early member and original moderator, were a guiding hand that helped make GR what it is today. Thanks, and I look forward to the return of the good ol' days!

Thank you to all of my old friends who have commented on this milestone--positively...and negatively.
And, yes, Card, it seems that my good friend Forged has mixed his metaphors and has me completing "legs" in "grand slams" that have no 4-base limit--as you and Leaguegolf, the leading Mouthkateers of GR have proven with your thousands of superior posts.
In fact, that "old knee" has been acting up a bit lately, but I was able to limp my way through the last four holes last week after I gave it a good twist on my drive but still managed to par out! My failing body may be my secret weapon for the coming season!
There isn't anyone on GR more worthy of my "slings and arrows" than old colleague Leaguegolf, whose outrageously good fortune it was to find a place like GR to put up with him.
The presence of great members and contributors like boomer, Keith, Greg, and golf-a-holic keep me coming back to GR just to see what "gems" they have posted. Thanks, fellow members, for being the people you are and for being here at Golf Rewind.
Congrats on 2000 valeogut. I've only got 180 to go... at the rate i'm going it could take me about 2 yrs to get to 2000
We've both slowed our posting pace down a bit of late--priorities, you know. But it's always nice to have you around, girlgolfa. You'll be surprised how easily those posts will accumulate if you don't pay any attention to the count.
