I bought this game for the xbox - but i'm sure it's practically the same on the ps2.

It's not nearly as good as it's cracked up to be - at most it'll fool the video gamer that never swung a golf club. In the very least it's a good workout for video gamers.

If you're thinking of trying the game just to have a cheapy simulator in your home, avoid it. In order to do well in this game, you'll need to mess up your golf swing and conform to the video game's idea of a good swing. The only part that feels pretty accurate is the minigame for approach shots...those are close enough to enjoy spending time on.

Cool gizmo though - has a lot of potential in games that you're unaware of the little nuances. IE if they do a boxing game, it'll be fun and realistic for the average joe, but would be hated by actual boxers.
