Lefty is in town (Tampa) and will be making a small trip to my area to take on Inconsistent and I in our own little Ryer Cup match. i will have to lend Lefty a sub to make it fair who's skills are similar to Inconsistent so it should be a fair match. Lefty is a lower handicap by 4, but i have home field advantage. no tv with this one though and the winner will have a free lunch and beer afterwards along with having bragging rights. wish us luck!
it all over with, we drew teams by tossing the golf balls over the shoulder and the teams were, myself and my buddy John and Inconsistent and Lefty.
and the winner was............ (drum roll please)......................
myself and John, 1 up with a birdie (me) on the last hole. Score were exceptionally low, birdies all over the place (along with a bunch of squirrels)
had a great time though, beer was flowing, literally, until john rescued the bartender after she broke the tap handle pouring our beers. free beer after that.

Great day, great course, great company! Lefty is a colorful chap, really knows his golf! I'm not sure I fully understand the scoring system we used, but it made my play seem a lot better!

aren't you just a regular comedian. it was a great day though and had a lot of fun. the non stop beer coming out of the tap was icing on the cake.
