any one know of any good games where I can play online against other people, say a version of tanks or something? I wanna play against a friend but he can't come over, and I'm bored

I don't know what tanks is, but there are the Battlefield games. They started on PC, Battlefield 1942 is around $20 now, and the newer Battlefield2: Modern Combat should be about $40 or less even. They have or will make a newer one that takes place in the future. Battlefield 2 is availible on PS2 and I think XBOX, but not 100% sure. EA makes this series and I highly recommend that you at least try out the first one, 1942.

There are only 2 games I've ever recommended to my brother, Battlefield1942 and God of War. I bought him BF1942 for his birthday after I played it at a friend's house. I gave him $$ for another birthday to get God of War, but he bought another game instead. He ended up borrowing my copy of God of War for about a year. Sorry for the rant, but BF1942 and BF2 are fun games. BF1942 takes place during the World War and BF2 (I think) lets you be America, British, Chinese or Middle Eastern something or other.
