Accepting my Green Jacket......
I thought my 1,000th post should be, well, about my 1,000th post. Thanks mods, friends, on-lookers, etc. for puting up with me for 10 months. I'm far from perfect, but I really do enjoy this forum and everyone on it. The mods do a great job and I'm proud and happy to be here. Thanks for the Green Jacket! I'll be wearing it with pride. I was thinking the same thing when I made my 999th post. Should I make it a special one? Nah. I think my 1000 post was just some sarcastic remark as usual!

Congrats LE and Dormie...I definitely appreciate the presence of you two gentlemen on the board, especially since you both seem to have taken a liking to my favorite hangout here...the Sports Forum!! Here's to another great 1000 for each of you.

Just so ya know, I moved this over to the Fun and Games so it'll fit in with all the other Green Jacket threads. Hope you don't mind.

Thanks everyone. My wife, who's from Poland, will post a menu from her traditional Polish family cookbook sometime soon. Since Dormie and I hit the 1,000 post together, it will be from us both- if you don't mind Dormie!

Congrats to both LordEmery and Dormie on your green jackets. It seems like both of you have been around forever. Both of your posts are consistently thoughtful and amusing and GR is much richer for your participation.
