Were the good old days in 1955 . . . what would the women say today?

Check this from Housekeeping Monthly in '55: A Good Wife's Guide

Any man to expect that from a woman today would wind up getting shot

You mean that article's not the way it's supposed to be?

OK, I'm going into hiding now before I get "shot."

Probably. But hey, welcome to the crowd. That is what women are for. To shoot us idot guys when we get out of line. And that happens quite a lot by the way. I'm not married yet, but I know what to expect. But something tells me it will all be worth it.

I'm getting married soon. You'll know when this occurs as I'll post once a week instead of a few times a day, I imagine.

Congrats Golfgeek, but besides your post count suffering, you had better watch your handicap as well.

The engagement wasn't anything new, btw. And she plays, so we'll see how that goes... but let's get back on topic. What's the topic here? Oh yeah... nothing.

Okay, so to that... Tiger's stroke-play wins this year. Nothing! :-P

I saw dblbassted's avatar on a poster in a local pub and immediately thought of Golf Rewind.

The poster said something about stress but I didn't take the time to read it. The picture must've spurred a subliminal urge to get back to Golf Rewind, and I split!

I saw that avatar as someone else's avatar at another forum. Still is funny though. And yes, I have two cats at home, they stayed off the screen door because we sprayed them down with water pistols. Good way to train them. Now if we could train the one to not try and kill the other...
