Ditto here in MN (about 1000 miles west and somewhat north of you, 'Card): 66 degrees at 9:30 PM. Got caught in a darn THUNDERSTORM walking to the bus after work. Drenched. Cool front coming in, though. Highs in the low 50s for the weekend.

No T-storms here, but according to the farmer's almanac the beginning of winter is usually 6 weeks after the last T-storm of the year. I know they are really educated guessers but wouldn't you take 6 more weeks of nice weather before snow flies?

I'm watching one of the worst college football games I think I've ever seen. Victory's poor Hawaii is getting lambasted by Boise St. They just scored again to make it 62-3, still in the 3rd quarter. 8 rushing TDs for Boise St., including 4 by their QB

As a Michigan football fan I will go CAWRAZY if Michigan finishes with one loss and they don't get in the BCS and Bosie State does. Like honestly Chang is good but Chad Henne will be even better. I'm pumped to see Henne as a senior the kid has a gun although he makes a lot of frosh mistakes.

69-3 now Boise. Yuck! Chang, who plays for Hawaii, set a record for most career INTs in this game with 74.

Hey Allen, I thought the same thing about Chris Rix when he was a frosh, and look where it got us..

Anyway, isn't Michigan in a good spot to win the Big Ten? Utah has a good shot at a BCS game, since they are 6th in the standings right now, which would guarantee them a spot. Boise St. isn't nearly as close.

Let's see. One cat strolled around the house moaning when I went to bed, jumped on top of the china and shook the crystal going up and coming down, rattled the blinds, and kept me awake for an hour. He got a hug.

The other cat walked across my head about 2 a.m. I couldn't catch him to give him a hug.

The first cat started crying again at 4 a.m. as he made his rounds checking all the corners in the house, jumped on the bed and began kneading on my legs, stuck his nose in my mouth, and walked across my pillow. He got another hug. So, yeah, I've hugged my cat today.

I've also fed them, having to open two cans because they didn't like the looks of the first; given them fresh cold water because they won't drink it tepid; cleaned their litter--all they do all night long, besides keep me awake, is defecate and urinate; and watched them go back to bed after they've gotten me up. Cats are just great.
