It is still warm out, 64º at 11 tonight! Plus I get to set my clocks back so I get an extra hour of sleep tonight.

We all used to love that extra hour at the bar! Unfortunately, you can't set a 9 year old's clock back.....and I'll be up early, same as him!

It's no fun getting that extra hour unless you have to be up at a certain time...in my case that will be around 1 PM for the football games! J/K, I usually can't sleep much past 10 or so...

I don't know....my name IS baseball related but you're right, it's over. None of my other teams are worth making an avatar out of. I'll check around and see what I come up with.

Winds with gusts to 50 mph in my area today. I've got no leaves left in my yard .....but my downwind neighbor ain't gonna be too happy when he gets home tomorrow!

We were supposed to get that kind of wind, but it never got that strong. Nontheless, the leaves are pretty much all gone now. I hate looking out over that bleak landscape, especially when it's snowless. May can't get here soon enough for me...

Well, I decided on an avatar change...I'd had this one all made up before the World Series and was gonna switch to it from Bob Gibson sometime during it, but somehow forgot. So I'm going with "The Wizard" for a while until I make up my mind on something more suitable for the season.

Hey! Your avatar is sideways! Whenever I see Ozzie, I think of Gary Templeton. He had my all time favorite baseball quote when he was asked if he would go to the All-Star game as a back-up to Ozzie. Does anyone recall Templeton's famous (and hilarious) answer?

Ozzie was traded for Templeton after Templeton's famous one finger salute to the fans. They were considered the 2 best shortstops at the time. I'll give the answer tomorrow. All the "great ones" were before your time!
