There were many great ones to choose from ( like the moderator team entries ever had a chance! ) and the decision was not an easy one. The funniest avatar entry has to go to Keith for his "He-Man Woman Haters Club" entry but I'm sure he understands why I wouldn't dare use that one.

girlgolfa also had several good entries although I was surprised she took it so easy on me! Thanks girlgolfa. Your avatars keep us all entertained.

Thank you to all the members who submitted avatars to the contest and a special thanks for keeping them all up to Golf Rewind standards. I know there's a few of you out there that probably had "other" avatars in mind when it came to me!

Can we have another contest? please

First, I wanted to congratulate lwc for winning the avatar selection contest. Looks like you not only designed a avatar for LG, you helped to inspire him to change his user title. Also, a congratulations should go out to girlgolfa. You came out with a lot of hilarious avatars.

Next, I'd like to thank LG for volunteering to be the subject of this contest. I think we all know that LG was leaving himself vulnerable to some friendly barbs, but barbs nonetheless. This gives me a good segue to thank all of the Members here who kept things within the rules, not only in the contest but everyday on this forum.

Last but not least, I would like to thanks ForgedRbest for his generous support of GR. We're all familiar with his (and the other Moderators) support of GR with his day in and day out contributions as a Moderator but he really went "beyond the call" with his sponsorship of the prize. Paul and I have supported this site solely from our own pockets from the beginning but costs have risen steadily in the past few months. We would like to keep GR advertisement-free and every supporting membership helps us keep this site that way.

A "thank you" to me really isn't necessary. It was all in fun! I've been around long enough to "know" our members fairly well, and while we may "needle" each other now and then I felt fairly safe in becoming a target. I actually expected a lot worse.

lwc put a lot of effort into his entries and is a well deserving winner. girlgolfa, though she gives me the "needle" now and then, is a great member here. Her contributions are much appreciated, and she deserves her well earned prize. My thanks to both of them for their winning attitudes as well as their winning entries!

I second your thoughts on all the members playing by the rules and having some fun with this. We do have an occasional "edit" here and there, but everyone is doing their part to make Golf Rewind the great place that it is!

Congrats to lwc and gg on their great work and thanks to everyone else who entered as well. From what I've seen we've got some talented "avatar hunters" here who also have a great sense of humor! Great job everyone.

Great choice, LG, and yet another great avatar from lwc, whose creations consistently make me stop and say, "Huh! Look at that! Wonder how he does it." The winning avatar even alludes to LG's occasional preference for an all-black ensemble on the golf course. GG's entries were also quite good, and I think Keith's gave all of us (at least the "elderly" among us) a good laugh. Thanks to everyone who participated.
