Valeogut Dons "Green Jacket!"

Congratulations to Valeogut for becoming the latest member of the "Green Jacket Club!" Valeogut's 1000 post performance is filled with Eagles and Birdies as his contributions to Golf Rewind's success has grown.

Valeogut was personally responsible in setting the tone for GR's family friendly
conduct and we all owe him a word of thanks for his efforts to make GR what it is today. Thank you Valeogut for your insightful and thought provoking posts and I hope there are many many more to come!

v-man! I'd give you a Norman-esque "Welcome to the club," but I haven't made it into the club yet myself. So I'll just have to press my mug up against the window and ask, "Yo, what's it like in there?"

Main course: Cheesesteaks; side of soft pretzel with mustard.
Dessert: Tastykake cakes and pies!

Love your posts, valeogut. Smart, well-written, and often laugh-out-loud funny.

Thanks for the congratulations, folks. The pleasure has been all mine.

I'll have to give the Champions dinner some thought, although boomer seems to suggest that my preference would be for something that would further fill me with gas! Thanks a lot, boomer!

Leaguegolf's comments were too generous, as is his habit; and poor JimSomebody is so starved for amusement up there in Minnesota that he finds me entertaining. Nevertheless, I am happy that my posts haven't gotten me banished and have provided at least some with amusement.

All of you with ideas for a "Champion's Dinner" will just have to wait until you're the one choosin' the menu! The dinner isn't really for the food .....it's for the comraderie of those select few who have contributed so very much.

That being said.....What "IS" for dinner Valeogut?

The same answer I gave on an earlier thread about the menu I'd select if I won the Masters.

New England clam chowder
Baby spinach salad with caesar dressing
Grilled filet mignon and garlic-butter fried sea scallops
French fried potatoes
Silver queen sweet corn
Super-rich, moist chocolate cake w/chocolate icing
Coffee and Grand Marnier

Sorry, Forged, but we'll have to save your suggestions for that big dinner we're going have for leaguegolf at your house after New Year's. I know he can't wait.

What was the name of that pink movie? Pretty in Pink? Your film could be called Pretty Pars in Pink!

Your Reese Witherspoon avatar just reminded me that I had spotted her as a young girl many years ago in a movie set in Australia, in which she and a young boy had to survive in the outback after her home was attacked and her parents killed. I said then that I expected big things of her. What an eye for talent, huh?

Congrats valeogut. That's quite a feast. I wouldn't change a thing.
For GG though I think 3-Jacks and the Kiwi Princess in Pink would be more appropriate.
