I voted for Other. Other seems to put a lot of time and efforts into their posts. Other really goes out of their way to give advice to those who are in need. We need more posters like Other. In my book, Other is a class act. I am officially petitioning Victory to make Other another one of our moderators.

Keith, I was going to vote for myself, being the egotistical maniac that I am. Unfortunately, I decided to read your response to the thread first and couldn't agree more. So Other got my vote as my GR Idol.

BTW, by using the Red Flag icon, Other can be a Golf Rewind Moderator.

Gee, I'm having trouble.

Other just doesn't cut it for me either because my parents always taught me to ignore what the Other guy did and think for myself. If I said, "All the Other guys are doing it," they would reply, "If all the Other guys jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?" Other than that, I might be tempted to make the Other choice.

So far I haven`t heard much campaigning by the candidates yet, ...such as lower taxation, free healthcare, free pro-v 1`s, etc !

Will there be adjudicators, (especially after the infamous Waz theft of 2005)

should an idol be someone who talks alot, as this is based on the shear number of posts, or should an idol be recocnized at all. God said "hold no other idols above me".
should this be called a mentor, or maybe favorite poster, should it be quantity, or quality.

I could say JC as he was the one who told me of golf rewind
I could go with League as he and I have a lot in common.
COuld go with Val as i think he is as tough as the clint pic he uses
I could go with any number of the other elder statesmen of this board as i would never have a junior as a mentor, fav or an "all dat"
I will have to digest this more and make a desision after a small bit of reflection.

I'm having the same problem as valeogut. I enjoy so many different posters for different reasons. GG's youthful enthusiasm.. plus she cracks me up. Card's youthful , knowledge, patience & maturity(but you need to get some sleep , card). JC's knowledge & generosity, Boomers heartfelt posts about his family, Keith & Jimmigan... well they both make me laugh out loud, Victory & Paul for all of their hard work & dedication in growing this into the best Golf Board on the Web. Forged ... well I never know when I may need to be bailed out in Norlins and league ...well, because he said he'd kick my if I didn't say something nice about him. I really can't think of any regular poster who I hasn't posted something of value. I really hate these vote things, because I always leave people out....plus I have zero votes... come on people... I pledge to you a chicken in every pot & 2 cars in every garage. I especially like hearing from our overseas posters who give an insight as to what things are like where they live. C-B-C, Duff, Donna, etc., etc., etc....An Idol, though, that would have to be JimSomebody... who exhibits a rare wisdom, grace & maturity in all of his posts....traits I aspire to acquire... someday.... when I get real, real, rrreeeeeeaaaaal old like Jim.

Since I'm not up there, I voted for JC. Insight, experience, and a big `ol heart not everybody here knows about yet....

I wasn't going to vote (because everyone that contrubutes to this great forum gets my respect ) but when I saw the "1" vote for me, I had to put another vote there just so you guys wouldn't think I voted for myself!!!

anyway....Leaguegolf- I like him cos' he's kind of funny and he makes up interesting posts. Stlcard_25- He's cool..... I like his posts and he's brainy.......but picks on me sometimes Victory- He does a great job of the site and his posts are cool too! ForgedRbest- he knows heaps of golf things.Valeogut- friendly. Girlgolfa- worst putter to ever walk on earth! Jimsomebody- He's the dude!.... can I have your autograph? Wazmankg- He cracks me up.... he's really funny. Jcgolfpro- I like all his golf tips! Keith- he's kinda funny too I think.

I'm sick of hearing about the Other day, the Other guy, the Other woman, the Other team, the Other side, etc. It seems to me that all you do is cause conflict and confusion. Why don't you go to some Other website and sow your seeds of discontent? Other-wise, I may be forced to take Other measures to deal with you! :nodsmiley
