Well, she's yet to pass the challenge for entry into the club, in case anyone's forgotten:
Quote:
GR Rule 205.34, section B of code 9-22, submitted 10/17/04 to be instituted effective 1/1/05 and revised if needed 12/31/05:

All Green Jacket applications must be submitted to the "Green Jacket Officiating Committee," who must review all applications and conclude based upon their own discretion whether or not the applicant has fulfilled all necessary requirements for Green Jacket initiation. The final decision on any applicant must fall upon the committee's vote. The committee is comprised of the existing members of the Green Jacket Club: leaguegolf, stlcard_25, ForgedRBest, Victory, and valeogut.

A simple majority of votes are needed for any member to be invited to complete the final requirement needed for entry into the coveted club: the member must pass a rigorous putting skills test which may include (but is not limited to): holing of 10 consecutive 20 foot putts, or 5 consecutive 40 foot putts, putting cross handed with eyes closed for an entire round of golf, while requiring fewer than 25 putts in the said round, putting one-handed while balancing on one foot, again needing fewer than 25 putts for a whole round, or putting with any variety of rudimentary putters such as turkey subs, maple switches, broom handles, or rainbow trout, again, needing less than 25 putts in a round of golf.
A few more to go and she may be in.

Plus league's still in need of a lot of convincing that we should allow a female member in. He keeps rambling on about it being against our policies and even if he were to drop dead today, our policies would not change...something like that. I think he thinks his real name's Hootie. We just leave him to himself muttering off in the corner about the olden days or whatever. I suppose we'll have to let him into the vote this afternoon though.

What about the count of MEANINGFUL posts, not just posts referencing the whining and pouting of not getting to be #100, 150, 200 and so on

If we were to deny teenage females the right to whine and pout, we might never hear from them ... I speak from 1st hand experience. Hers are usually entertaining, at least.

You've got it all wrong....again, Card! It's my "Uncle Hootie" that said the policies at his club won't change, even if he drops dead! Is it your memory that's shot, or are your reading skills in need of some dire attention? I got your "muttering in the corner" right here!

I've always been in favor of anyone that "earns" their way in. It's the girlies that think they can get in on Sponsor's Exemptions that get the boot! Girlgolfa has certainly proven her worth and her 1000th post will be commemorated accordingly!

Anyway, good to see Forged talked you into coming in out of the cold on this one. Well, actually he was going out to check the road for any fresh roadkills and was just stopping by on the way back.

Gee Card, are your eyes going bad too? Don't you know "Root Beer" when you see it? The "good stuff" is reserved for adults only during the Champion's Dinner!

If everyone with a Green Jacket attends!

Speaking of everyone attending, did our new gopher jc get those invitations printed and sent out? GG's going to be disappointed if he didn't and only 3 people show up.
