I think Endymion will be next weekend. So you should go next weekend.
I wish I could go to Endymion, but I've got 3 papers to write over the mardi gras holidays. :(

Wow I had a great time in the big easy.

The food was great.
I got a list of great restaurants from frichissin.
I got into New Orleans Friday afternoon and went to my hotel.
My wife and I stayed at The Garden District Hotel right on St. Charles Ave.
I had dinner at Commander's Palace Friday at 5:00PM.
The first parade started right around the corner from Commander's Palace.

We went to Houston’s for lunch on St. Charles on Saturday and watched the parade’s after lunch right outside Houston’s
Saturday night we had dinner at Pascal's Manale great Italian food.

Sunday was a fun day we hade breakfast at Bluebird Café, lunch at Camellia Grill and Dinner was Popeye’s. It was the night of Bacchus the king was
Actor Sean Astin, the Hobbit Samwise from "The Lord of the Rings"
Monday was a laid back day I played golf at Audubon Park Golf Course uptown small but nice. That afternoon we went to the Audubon Zoo. We did not make any parades that night.
Ok it’s now FAT TUESDAY we stayed close to the hotel and watch all the parades wow I can’t say what I saw but you can only guess. We never went to the quarters. NO pictures well maybe some maybe another site.

I might go to Jazz fest then I might make it to the French quarters.

I tried to sign on to rewinds once but the site was still down.

Wow, the Garden District Hotel. You definately got a prime spot for the parades then.
Yeah, if you go to Jazzfest, it will be a bit better crowdwise in the Quarter. I've never been to Jazzfest, but I have been down in the Quarter during Jazzfest. Burbon street won't be nearly as crowded as it gets on Mardi Gras.
