Kids, Teens, issues ,etc.

This was a PM to C-B-C who's apparently filled his in-box, but it might be a good thread for parents to sound off about child-rearing, teen issues, etc.

Good morning C-B-C, it is here anyway & I'm at work . My kids don't read my PMs and have very little interest in GR except that my daughter is mad that I posted a picture of her making a face. I dearly wish I could tell you that they'd be shocked & appalled by your(very funny) joke... unfortunately that's not the case. They've both been exposed to every manner of profanity & off-color entertainment known to man... at least that's what they lead me to believe. My youngest will be 14 in a few weeks and my 17-year-old daughter takes great pleasure out of playing "shock mommy & daddy" with what comes out of her mouth, regretably. Oh well , they'll be off & away before I know it and I'm sure(I think ) I'll miss them dearly. So please don't hesitate to send me any new good ones you come accross. Have a great day.

C-B-C sent PM'd me a "dirty joke" and decided he' d send me no more due to the fact that I have kids that might be exposed to them. I simply wanted to dis-abuse him of that notion. The only bad joke is one that isn't funny. The thread is more or less a forum for folks to express their gripes & opinions about child-rearing.

It was a great joke. I just wanted to let you know that you needn't worry about the content of what you PM me. Clean out your inbox ... or there is a Supporting Member program that allows you greater flexibility. :nodsmiley
