Is that the Grand Slam or the League Slam? Do all 3000 posts have to be in the SAME season?

I'm not sure, but he can put all 3000 posts on his coffee table, and that looks pretty cool, doesn't it, LG? (Any ETA on No. 4000?)

The only question now, JC, is whether he'll complete it in a calendar year...he's got til May to get the next 1000...I'm betting he gets it in April, maybe during Masters week?

It all hinges on whether he can get it done in the calendar year boomer. I'm sure there will be dissent amongst those who wish not to give him credit for it if he can't complete it within a year's time.

It's going to be tight getting that last one in within the calendar year... especially with golf season approaching. Way to keep setting the standard league What's the next mountain to climb , though ?

Thanks to all of those that noticed (I don't count 'em, I just post 'em ). From the serious, the sarcastic, and the humorous, to the just plain stupid.....I've clicked the "Submit Reply" with the best (and worst ) of them. I feel like I'm in good company when I spend time on GR with all of you.

The GR "calendar year" runs from May to May so there's an outside chance that post #4000 could fall within that time frame. I'll keep plugging, one post at a time. All the while knowing that quality beats quantity every time.

As for my favorite post......the story about old John and his Sam Snead scorecard is the post that I'll always remember.

League, coming up to the 4,000th post, do you focus on increasing the quantity (distance) or only the quality (accuracy). We mere mortals need to be let in on the secrets for the posting stamina...

"Quality beats quantity every time!" Like everyone else, I occasionally get "off-line" when I go for extra distance (quantity), but quality shots (accuracy) is what wins Majors.

What about the one with the Stewardess and the Cheerleader? Or was that a PM you sent me?

Let me sort through my "Keith" PMs. Let's see here....Warning to Keith, Warning to Keith, Knock it Off to Keith, Inappropriate Language to Keith, Another Warning to Keith, That's Not allowed here to Keith, What's Up with that? to Keith, Last Warning to Keith, another Last Warning to Keith......I know that Stewardess PM is in here somewhere.

I'll have to get back to you on that one. Seems I've got a lot more of these "Keith" PMs than I thought!
