Where's Miss Hundy Hunter?

I wonder if she knows we're rapidly approaching 50,000 posts ?

Everyones connection will go out when GR reaches 49,999 posts!
Everyone needs to evacuate the site at post 49,999... or else, you will never be able to access the internet again
G.G can stay on though

shouldn't hundy hunters stick to claiming hundies and leave the big numbers to the professionals?

kinda dumb here, but how do find out who claimed the big prize?

Sorry Keith, but the Bob Watson reference I was looking for was connected to reaching a milestone. Watson scored the one millionth run in baseball and I was looking to score the 50,000th post here on Golf Rewind.

Besides.....I don't look good in orange!

Check out Introductions and Greets -> mjamp. He just HAPPENED to join at the precise instant following the 49,999th post. Seems he's a Michigan guy, who just HAPPENS to have a girlfriend in league's hometown. In fact they quickly struck up quite a rapport. I think they may be planning golf vacations together by now. I'm SURE it's all an amazing coincidence, but a thorough investigation is under way.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. Especially since you just happened to be lurking around looking for that 50,000th post for
yourself Mr. Wazmankg. Anyone who doubts that, needs to look no further than to check the name of the person who started this thread. While they're at it, if they review the posts made just prior and just after post #50,000 (made at 11:23 pm last night) they'll discover very suspicious lookingwaz tracks littering the scene of the crime! "Thorough Investigation" that!

If you're going to insunuate or accuse, at least get your facts straight. The proud owner of the 50,000th post (mjamp) has been a member since January 25th and the winning post was only his 3rd ever post.

I guess that leaves you off any investigating committee.

Your name may in GREEN wazmankg....but the color doesn't suit you. Envy rarely suits anyone.

Now if i were going to try to grab it for myself, would I have alerted the whole GR world to the impending 50,000 threshhold ? I may be slow, but I'm not that stupid. The investigation does seem to be at a standstill until more information reveals itself. I will extend my apologies and warm welcome to Mr. mjamp if he ever comes back for anything other than "Conversations With Leaguegolf".

OK, I'll give ya that.....you're not THAT stupid.

Gee, by extending a warm welcome to Mr. mjamp wouldn't you be doing exactly the same thing I did? Heaven forbid we invite "conversations" with first time posters.

Speaking of stupid...I have a question. If we post in the fun and games section is doesn't count towards our post totals. Does this apply for the overall board post total?

Yes, any post on GR counts on toward the overall total. I wasn't sure of that myself until last night when I was closely monitoring the total post count to see who would make the 50,000th post.

I'm sure wazmankg was well aware of this fact, as he was also "closely monitoring" the total post count.
