Wow, and here I thought nothing was going on tonight...I'm embarrassed I didn't notice earlier . At any rate, welcome to the club Keith, and here's to 1000 more posts as entertaining as the last 1000.
Congratulations, Keith. I knew you were coming up next , but this snuck up on me too. You've been busy here lately. I especially enjoy your posts about your family exploits as we're in the same boat there and I can always count on you for a good laugh and you can't beat that. Looking forward to the next 1000. Now what's for dinner ??
Congratulations Keith and welcome to the club. There was a time when I would've bet big money you would never last long enough to reach 1000 posts and now I can't wait to read the next 1000. Thanks for seeing the light and thanks for making
Golf Rewind a better place!
BTW Just cuz you're sportin' a green jacket and you're the newest member of the Green Jacket Club doesn't mean you can sneak one by me!

Yeah, I always figured I would end up with one of those nasty little N/A's under my name.
Sneak one by you? I don't have any idea what you're talking about.
Right away I knew that GR was someplace different. Someplace special. I, like a couple of others, came from the ESPN boards looking for a forum where you could have a discussion without it turning into a flame fest. I signed on here not too long after Victory opened it up. Right away I found a couple of friendly faces and could see that in the course of discussion, people could be civil. There were a few bumps along the way. More than a couple of PM's to the mods on their choice of editing post. Even when I disagreed with them, I knew what they were trying to accomplish and it seems to have worked. After some initial growing pains, or in my case growing up pains, we are fortunate to have this type of community. Golf Rewind could be used as a blueprint on how to set up a DB.
I would like to thank Victory, as we all should, for having the foresight to start GR. League, thanks for having patience with me, I am sure you probably had you're finger on the trigger a couple of times when I was testing the limits of the mods. JimS, you were one of the firsts from ESPN that I talked to over here, and right away we knew how right this felt. I think I probably PM'ed you more than anyone about being edited early on. Thanks for letting me use you as a sounding board. Card, Waz, GG,---you guys are great. Sorta like a little family within the GR family. I can always count on one of you to impress me in a new way each day. JC, another ESPN refuge, you have a way of explaining things to people where you don't go over their heads. Thanks for answering all my pesky PM's. I see you still visit ESPN occasionally, so fight the good fight. Forged, when I first started reading your posts, man were they over my head. Blades, forged, casts, fittings, lie angles--holy smokes, you were like Einstein. You are like a little taste of history on clubs. While I don't always understand what you are talking about, I feel smarter after I have read it. Val-Thanks for being one of our first mods, setting a standard that the rest had to adhere to. Generr--Thank you so much for the books. I had heard great things about them, and I am almost sorry I waited so long to finally read them. I still think I shorted you on the cigars. You are aces in my book To the rest of you, you guys rock. I have enjoyed reading just about everything I have seen here. Well everything but JimS Green Jacket dinner menu, that still gives me the willies.
Keep up the great work guys

Well what do we do for a dinner? Since I live in the Seattle area, you can expect some seafood to come into play. I also spent some time growing up in North Dakota, so meats and cheeses will also be represented. My wife is Italian, so better get some foods from the old country on here. So unlike JimSomebody who presented an outstanding spread of Swedish cuisine, the dinner menu for this occasion will be all over the board. Enjoy.
