First Eagle - 4/18/05

When I think about how many rounds I've played I am a bit embarrassed that it has taken this long.

Course: Palmetto Dunes Arthur Hills
Location: Hilton Head, SC
Hole: #13 507 Yards
Clubs: Driver, Hybrid 3 Iron, Putter

I was playing with my best friend who I grew up with and only get to golf with a few times a year. I'm glad he was there to witness it. Second shot was about 215 yards, rolled just past the cup. I was left with about a two footer. Great Day!

Aww Sweet shot there JRMaroon... Getting that first Eagle is a blast. Hopefully you'll have more to come...

It took longer so your friend could be there to see it, lol. That had to be one sweet moment...savor it. 215 with what club? Congratulations and here's to many more.

Great job JRMaroon. Those are definitely some of the sweetest moments you experience in this game. Great shot, and hopefully the first of many.

Nice job. Sounds like you really earned it too. I have had two myself, but they were both kind of flukey. I am looking forward to my first par 5 eagle where I had to stick two great shots, followed by a putt.

Once again, nice work.
